And God Said...

And God said, “Hello? I am here.

This is where I knew you would be.

Right in the middle of indecision,

Or caught by confusion.”

God can see. He knows where I will go,

What I say, every step, every move,

God planned for it all.

He is never caught off guard or unaware.

He is my Father, there to catch me when I fall.

Lonely is an illusion the devil made,

For God said, “I will never leave you.”

My soul must see with God’s greater Light.

Tho’ the world is dark, my Father carries me thru.

He is there in those quiet moments

Where I rest, where I hide ~ He planned that place.

He is the Maker of all my joy, my laughter.

And God said, “seek My face.”

He has given us His word to study, to learn.

It has graced souls for thousands of years.

If we trust in His words of Truth,

God will calm our fears.

He holds me in the Peace of His hand,

Where my heart knows no pain.

He is the Creator of my comfort,

In His strength I forever remain.

And God said, “Hello, my child”

As I read His word, we begin another day.

So, I hold tightly to Daddy’s hand,

Bound by Grace and Love,

My prayer ~ to go His way.
