I’m not sure you can see
this very well, but on the very tip of this little tree is a new shoot pushing
out. I was soooo excited to see that today!!! This little tree was under a
rock, then half buried by the sprinkler dudes, then stepped all over. Been a
rough start for this little thing! Well, now there is part of an old log next
to it to help prop it up while it gets its roots under its feet.
God does this for us
constantly! His blessings are always there, but it is especially sweet when we
see the propping He’s doing and then have another opportunity to give God props
for His provision. If we are to be overcomers, then God has to allow some
‘thing’ to overcome and that very thing is what can point others to God and
encourage us all in our journeys together!
There’s a lesson we can
learn from His creation all around us…gratitude! Birds are singing, bees are buzzing…
Snow-crown the peaks
with splendor, scatter rose petals down your paths, All through the wild
meadows, rose petals. Set the hills to dancing, Dress the canyon walls with
live sheep, a drape of flax across the valleys. Let them shout, and shout, and
shout! Oh, oh, let them sing!
Psalm 65:11-13
One way we can enter into
His divine will is through our praise of gratitude . It is a place we enter into,
we may reside there, step there…dwell in the palatable holiness of His desires.
Entering into His will requires action on our part, movement, purposefulness ~
most importantly, a yielded heart.
A few Gratitude thoughts
~

Let the message of Christ dwell among
you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through
psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Colossians 3:16
Trust
God….Listen for God…Run to God.
